Wildlife abounds in the Burwash area. The following pages illustrate just a few examples of the local wildlife and signs of wildlife that occur in the Burwash area, south of the city of Sudbury. This is the same area were most of the wildflowers were photographed.

We have seen moose, elk, deer, beaver, river otters, turtles, muskrat, one marten, and bear.

Check the following pages for images of:

Spring elk, Burwash.

Deer track, Burwash.

Beaver lodge, Burwash.

Brown snake, Burwash.

Fox scat, Burwash.

Mallard duck, Sudbury.

Red Admiral butterfly, Burwash.
